A ind\u00fastria, inaugurada em 2004, \u00e9 a maior do Brasil e foi a primeira de grande porte do pa\u00eds a operar com o uso do \u00f3leo de mamona. No primeiro ano de instala\u00e7\u00e3o e produ\u00e7\u00e3o, a usina chegou a enviar mais de 10 milh\u00f5es e 600 mil litros de biodiesel produzidos no munic\u00edpio para os postos da Petrobras.<\/p>\n

Apesar da f\u00e1brica ter nascido com o objetivo de beneficiar a mamona para produ\u00e7\u00e3o de biodiesel, a partir de 2019 ela utilizar\u00e1 a soja como mat\u00e9ria-prima. \u201cOs dirigentes da Unibras, empresa que assumiu o controle da usina de biodiesel, atestaram que a soja \u00e9 mais vi\u00e1vel para esse tipo de combust\u00edvel, sendo de maior produtividade e mais competitiva. Ainda assim, pretendemos reaproveitar a mamona da regi\u00e3o e tentaremos inseri-las em algumas etapas da produ\u00e7\u00e3o do combust\u00edvel\u201d, disse o secret\u00e1rio de Estado do\u00a0Desenvolvimento Econ\u00f4mico, Igor N\u00e9ri.<\/p>\n

Instalada numa \u00e1rea de 10 hectares e com tecnologia automatizada, a f\u00e1brica tem capacidade de produ\u00e7\u00e3o de 250 metros c\u00fabicos\/dia e produzir\u00e1 por ano cerca de 90 milh\u00f5es de litros de biodiesel. J\u00e1, a capacidade de armazenamento \u00e9 de 2 milh\u00f5es de litros de biodiesel e 1 milh\u00e3o de mat\u00e9ria-prima.<\/p>\n

Com investimentos em torno dos R$ 60 milh\u00f5es, o empreendimento ir\u00e1 gerar, inicialmente, 70 empregos diretos e mais de 300 indiretos. \u201cAl\u00e9m da gera\u00e7\u00e3o de emprego e renda, a ind\u00fastria incentiva a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de soja no estado e permite que o Piau\u00ed produza o pr\u00f3prio biodiesel, inclusive podendo exportar para muitos estados que n\u00e3o possuem usina de biodiesel, tais como Maranh\u00e3o, Par\u00e1, Cear\u00e1 e Pernambuco\u201d, pontuou o gerente de Produ\u00e7\u00e3o da Unibras, Anderson Lange.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
